James, most likely you aren’t running the “order processing” function. Calculations won’t appear automatically in your QuickBooks invoice, you have to actually run our program and tell it to do the calculations

I am trying to set a column in Quickbooks that functions as a per day calculator in addition to the item quantity, ie; rate X quantity X days = Total I used CCRQ and went through the steps to set up a miltiplier and then syncd up the detail options in the report designer. What do I have to do now to get the custom columns to work in Quickbooks or am I misunderstanding? The tutorial was very brief and confusing.

Ron, I can’t say based on what you are saying here. The new inventory program will not provide you with new price level features, it provides a more flexible way to update per-item price level lists in QuickBooks. If you can create the price levels you want manually in QB, but find that it is a chore to keep up to date, this may help. If you can’t get price level lists to work the way you want at all, this won’t help. Feel free to contact us directly via email if you wish to discuss this further.

For many years we have used software that I wrote for our accounting. It is not full featured but it works great for inventory and quoting and invoicing. I am also using 2009 Pro and now have purchased Enterprise 10.0. Sadly Enterprise doesn’t provide price levels that work well for me. I need a different percentage discount for many different types of products within a price level. I then want the prices and costs to update when I receive new list prices from a vendor. Will your new inventory product help me with this?

Steve, you have the option of printing with QuickBooks or with CCRQInvoice. It depends on what you want to do.

If you are just looking for the calculations as discussed earlier, you don’t have to print in CCRQInvoice. You enter your order in QuickBooks, save it, run CCRQInvoice, and we store the calculated values back into your QuickBooks order. Then you can print there.

In some cases, people want the printed order to have features that QuickBooks won’t support. For example, if you have multiple page invoices and you only want the total to print on the last page, you would print with CCRQInvoice (since QuickBooks can’t do that). Our form designer provides features not available in QuickBooks, such as the ability to print any field in a bar code format. And there is more to come in future releases…

Steve, we have a “calculatd quantity” feature that will accomplish what you need. You would add fields for the height and width, and a dividing factor. The program will take height X width and divide by the factor, then round to the precision that you want, and use that as the quantity value to multiply by the rate.

In the program you will find the “calculated quantity” feature, and select the “volume” option. You just have to set up the “length” value to always be a “1″ to make it work for area.

I watched your tutorials but am confused can I print directly from QB (as I am doing now) or do I have to go to CCRQ each time I create an invoice?

I sell product by the square foot. I want to have Three aditional fields on my invoice that will do calculations.
Now lets see if I can explain this right.
I want to enter on one line item
Item#, Hieght,and Width only (in inches)
then let Quickbooks/CCRQ figure the rest.
1st field(H x W /144)=sq ft
then
2nd field(sq ft x Rate)=Price
then
3rd field(Price x Quantity)=Total

Can CCRQInvoice do this? because Quickbooks cant do it alone
