The standard form is built in to the program. You can use the form editor to modify that to fit your needs. We did have a "library" of alternate forms, but we withdrew that temporarily as there were some problems in how they were distributed, and we have to do some retooling before we post them again.

Thanks - I guess the forms in CCRQInvoice specify the format of the multi-page invoices. The Standard one might work - where on the website can you download other forms?

David, that depends on what you mean by "sensible". What are you looking to do? The video in this article shows how to print, and in the example it shows that the totals print only on the last page of a multiple page invoice. If you are looking for some sort of contract page or additional info to print just on the last page, see http://ccrqblog.ccrsoftware.info/2009/02/adding-contract-pages-to-quickbooks-invoices-with-ccrqinvoice/

I would be interested to try the CCRQInvoice just to have the ability to print "sensible" multi-page invoices, but don't immediately see any description of how you specify that on this blog or the main site. Can you point me to it? Thanks!

Douglas, you understand the way this works. It is more for a batch process where several orders are processed at a time, or when you have time to work things out.

If you can contact our sales department directly we have other possible solutions, depending on your exact needs, on a custom basis. We have an order entry product that will give you totals as you enter the order, on screen. We have done modifications to this for a customer where the price varies as the total count increases, in several variations (per line, or even per order). But these are done on a custom basis, rather than off the shelf. Contact our sales department and describe what you need...

Charlie,

Thank you for a very helpful blog site. I am working for a client that needs the weight on sales orders, etc. and have reviewed your product, the overview and tutorial.

Based on my observation, it appears you must load the SO data first and then "process" the SO to see the calculated total weight.

Our issue: The order takers add to an order live, line-by-line as the customer identifies the SKU's they want. When the customer gets to a certain weight, they can jump to a new price level. Having to "process" the order every few lines to calculate the total weight seems cumbersome.

Am I interpreting the process correctly?

For calculating shipping weights, a final "processing" will work fine, but I was hoping for a real time calculation.

Any thoughts?

Again, thanks for the good work here!

Ron, I can't say based on what you are saying here. The new inventory program will not provide you with new price level features, it provides a more flexible way to update per-item price level lists in QuickBooks. If you can create the price levels you want manually in QB, but find that it is a chore to keep up to date, this may help. If you can't get price level lists to work the way you want at all, this won't help. Feel free to contact us directly via email if you wish to discuss this further.

For many years we have used software that I wrote for our accounting. It is not full featured but it works great for inventory and quoting and invoicing. I am also using 2009 Pro and now have purchased Enterprise 10.0. Sadly Enterprise doesn't provide price levels that work well for me. I need a different percentage discount for many different types of products within a price level. I then want the prices and costs to update when I receive new list prices from a vendor. Will your new inventory product help me with this?

Jerry, feel free to contact our sales staff directly at sales@ccrsoftware.com, as it is easier to correspond that way.

With all of our products you can print bar code info using any field, in any report. We also have a specific bar code printing product (not listed on our web site) if you want to print labels from the item list, etc.

As for scanning, we don't have anything off the shelf that deals with that. You can use a bar code scanner connected to your computer to use a bar code as a replacement for a keyboard, without any special software (other than what comes with the scanner, and what you use to PRINT the bar codes). We don't have any special purpose programs that would assist you in things like physical inventories, etc.

We are looking at your software. Our main goal is to integrate bar code into our invoice systems to track serial numbers of products shipped to our customers. Can your system handle card code printing and scanning ?
