CCRQInvoice Sorting Problems: Updates
Some installations that are using the CCRQInvoice sorting feature have reported some problems. If you have run into any of these problems we may have an update for you that will resolve the issue.
If you have run into any of these issues please contact us at support@ccrsoftware.com so that we can discuss how to get you an update that will fix things:
- Sorting won’t work if you have an apostrophe or other punctuation in the item ID or description. Usually this is just an apostrophe (‘) or possibly a double quote (“). In some installations the item that has this character will be turned into a comment line. We have a test update that will resolve this.
- Sales Orders won’t sort, you get an odd error message. This is a rare occurrence, but if you run into this let us know. Our test update should fix this, but we are looking for additional test sites.
- If the order contains a group item, the sort might not work (generating an error). This doesn’t happen in all cases. We have a test update that will resolve this.
If you are using CCRQInvoice and have run into any of these errors please contact support@ccrsoftware.com to discuss getting a test copy of the new update. We will need to know the following information:
- What version of CCRQInvoice you are running. Please select Help then About and the version information is displayed.
- What version, edition, release, year and nationality of QuickBooks you are using. Most of this can be obtained by pressing F2 in QuickBooks and then giving us all the info on the product line at the top of the window (including the “release” info at the end).
- What version of Windows you have.
- Are you printing your orders with CCRQInvoice? This is an important piece of information.
As always, there is no charge to these updates to registered users!
