CCRQBOM Upcoming Features
We will be releasing a new version of CCRQBOM in early May 2009 (3.2.1) . This article describes some of the new features. Please note that some of these screen shots were taken from a pre-release version, so there may be some minor variations from the actual release. You can download this version from our web site at http://www.ccrsoftware.com/CCRQBOM/CCRQBOM.htm - and the full documentation is available there as well.
If you have an earlier registered copy of CCRQBOM you can upgrade to this for no charge.
CCRQInvoice and Windows Vista
If you are using version 3.2.0 through 3.3.1 of CCRQInvoice you may have difficulty in running the program on a computer running Windows Vista if you log in with more than one user account. The first user account will work correctly, but when you try to run from a second user account from the same computer you will get a Windows error saying that the program could not run. This is due to a security protection feature in Windows Vista.
Version 3.3.1.1 resolves this problem – you can download it from our web site now. Please install it to the same program folder as you used before. The installation program will first uninstall the older program, and then will install the newer program. No further changes are needed.
Please note that if you have version 3.0.1.0 or older you must first uninstall the original program using your Windows Control Panel first, before installing the new program.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask, either in comments here or by emailing our technical support department.
CCRQInvoice Update: Version 3.3.1
We have released version 3.3.1 of CCRQInvoice to our web site. If you are a registered user of the product you can upgrade to this version for no additional fee. Please install this to the same program folder that you used for your earlier release.
One of the new features is an improved method of using Custom Fields in the CCRQInvoice form editor. In prior releases you had to guess which QuickBooks custom field mapped to a particular custom field name in CCRQInvoice. With this release we have added a “mapping” feature to make things easier. Please see our Custom Fields tutorial video for details on how to use this feature.
